On paper, you have it all together. So why does it feel like you're barely keeping your head above water?
You've got the career goals, the group chat, the vision board, and yet somehow, the to-do list never gets shorter. You wake up already behind. You go to bed replaying the things you didn't finish, the text you forgot to respond to, the version of yourself you feel like you're still not quite being.

You're in a season of building , climbing at work, figuring out who you want to be with, navigating a friendship group that keeps shifting. Or you just became a mom and you're trying to hold everything together while quietly wondering when you get to feel like yourself again. Whatever your season looks like, burnout isn't some far-off warning, it's already here.
It shows up as snapping at the people you love most, crying in the car on the way to work, or spending an hour scrolling through Instagram comparing your behind-the-scenes to everyone else's highlight reel and walking away feeling worse. It looks like being productive all day and still feeling like you've accomplished nothing. Like no matter how much you do, it's never quite enough.

You're not falling apart. But you're not okay either. And you've been holding that in for a long time.

You've tried to manage it. Here's why it keeps coming back.
You're not someone who just sits with a problem, you look for solutions. So you've already tried some things. The meditation app you downloaded and then felt guilty for abandoning. The wine, the online shopping, the Netflix spiral that helps you decompress until it doesn't anymore. The habit of pushing through and white-knuckling it until things "calm down", except they never really do.

There's a good chance you've opened up to a friend, only to pivot to asking how they're doing before they even finished their response. Because you don't want to be a burden. Because you're the one who has it together. Because saying "I'm really struggling" out loud feels like admitting defeat, and high achievers don't do that.

None of those strategies are wrong. They make complete sense. But they're all managing the surface without touching what's underneath. The overwhelm keeps coming back because the root of it hasn't been addressed. The people-pleasing, the perfectionism, the fear of falling behind, the pressure to be everything to everyone, that doesn't go away with a better morning routine.
It goes away with real, lasting work. The kind that actually sticks.
Therapy For Women At Haven House Counseling
At Haven House, I work with high-achieving women who are tired of running on empty, and tired of pretending they're not. Whether you're navigating anxiety, burnout, or that quiet sense that something just feels off, this is a space where you don't have to perform.

Therapy here isn't about handing you a list of coping tools and sending you on your way. It's about understanding why you operate the way you do. This is therapy for women who are used to figuring it out alone. And are finally ready to stop going at it alone.
This might be exactly what you've been looking for if...
You're ambitious and driven, but constantly feel behind no matter how much you accomplish

You hold yourself to a standard you'd never apply to someone you love

Anxiety, stress, or burnout is quietly running the show

You feel like you should have it figured out by now
You say yes when you mean no, and then resent it

You compare yourself to others online and walk away feeling worse

You're a new mom trying to hold it all together, and struggling to ask for help

You're ready for change but haven't known where to start

Maybe You're Still Not Sure...
I've never been to therapy before. Is that okay?
Absolutely. You don't need to have "done therapy before" to get started here. Many of the women at Haven House are coming to therapy for the first time. We go at your pace, and the first session is really just a chance for us to get to know each other and figure out what you need.
What about pricing, do you accept insurance?
For detailed informaton about pricing and my stance on insurance please visit the Pricing & FAQs page.
I'm really busy. How do I make this work with my schedule?
That's exactly why Haven House is telehealth-only. Sessions happen virtually, so you can show up from your home, office, or wherever you have a quiet space. No commute, no time lost, just the work.
I feel like my problems aren't serious enough for therapy. Is that normal?
Yes, and it's one of the most common reasons women wait too long to reach out. You don't have to be in crisis to deserve support. If something is getting in the way of you feeling like yourself, that's reason enough.
